Being an actor myself, I remember struggling to simply find reliable and efficient talent management agencies to find quality work and opportunities. Most of them were charging loads of money for building a portfolio from a beginner like me or simply shrugged off the idea of me being an artist because of my height. But I knew from the time I had the first project that I loved this industry and could clearly see the potential to help thousands of others like me. To me, media and entertainment is a way of spreading joy, building confidence and celebrating freedom in one of the most basic ways possible. At Amigo, I work with a lot of pride and want to ensure that all those who have the talent and zeal to perform get enough opportunities to prove themselves and create amazing workpieces. It is always a daunting task to think of the perfect name. But I knew from the start that I wanted my work to reflect me and my love for the industry. It is not only something of mine but an integral part of me as an individual. When I heard the word “Amigo” it immediately struck a chord. It meant “a friend”. I knew at that moment, that was it.
